Aka laser, low level laser, cold laser or light therapy; uses Infrared light to stimulate cells. Infrared light sits between microwaves (that we use to cook food) and visible light waves ( that brings colour to objects of the world) on the Electromagnetic Wave Spectrum. There are 4 types of light most commonly used in therapy. Far infrared, near infrared, blue light and ultraviolet light.
Near and far infrared light complement each other well, often being used in combination in a phototherapy device. Together their therapeutic effects include:
